Deschamps: Pogba plays too much
France coach Didier Deschamps says he is concerned at the number of games Juventus star Paul Pogba has been playing over the last year.
The former Bordeaux manager was speaking as his side prepare to take on Holland in an international friendly tomorrow evening.
“Paul has played so much since the U-20 World Cup,” Deschamps commented. “He has been preparing for games in different ways and he has been playing so often.
“Juve and Antonio Conte cannot rest him, he is having a great season and they is also the Europa League.
“But he is young and they need to be careful with him.”
Pogba has feature in 35 matches in all competitions so far this season, with 25 of those coming in Serie A.
