Real Madrid have told Arsenal they must pay £25million to sign Alvaro Morata at the end of the season.
The Gunners have been strongly linked with a move for Spain hitman Morata in recent days, with the club believed to have agreed personal terms with the player on a switch to the Emirates Stadium.
All that remains to complete the transfer is for a fee to be agreed with Real, and reports in Spain claim that Arsenal will have to pay £25million to get their man.
The price would not include any possible buy-back option for Madrid, but is much more than Arsene Wenger had hoped to spend in order to land the striker.

A tall, powerful and all action attacker, Morata has set his heart on a switch to Arsenal after a lack of game time under Carlo Ancelotti this season.
Talks over a fee for the Spain Under-21 star will begin at the end of the season.
