Kroos open to England move
Manchester United have been put on red alert after Toni Kroos admitted he would consider a move to the Premier League.
Manchester United manager David Moyes has, for a long period of time, been an admirer of the 24-year-old and has watched the midfielder on two separate occasions this season - the most recent example being the 2-0 win over Arsenal in the Champions League with Kroos scoring the opening goal.
The Germany international’s contract is due to expire at the Allianz Arena in the summer of 2015, but the Bavarian club are stalling on agreeing a new deal due to the player’s wage demands which are “through the roof”, according to Bayern president Franz Beckenbauer.
And during the press conference before Bayern's return last-16 tie against Arsenal, Kroos confirmed that if he does leave Bayern then he would consider a move to the Premier League.
"No decision has been made. It is no secret that the Premier League is a possibility for me," said Kroos when probed on his future.
Furthermore, Kroos claimed that he would not rule out a move to a non-Champions League club, reports former footballer-turned-journalist Jan Aage Fjortoft.
