Murray beaten by Dimitrov in Acapulco

Andy Murray saw his progress at the Acapulco Open ended abruptly in the semi-finals after Grigor Dimitrov sealed a 5-6 7-6 7-6 victory.

Murray began the match brimming with confidence and took the opening set by a single break against the 22-year-old from Bulgaria.
But Dimitrov, seeded fourth, produced a composed performance in the second set tie-break to take it 7-5 as the crowd at Cancha Central were treated to a third and deciding set.
Second seed Murray was again taken to a tie-break in the third and again it was Dimitrov who came through to take it, this time with the Brit recording just three points.
Dimitrov will now face Kevin Anderson, the fifth seed from South Africa, in the final after he defeated Alexandr Dolgopolov 6-1 5-7 6-4 in the other last-four encounter.
