Atletico suffer Champions League hangover against Osasuna

Atletico Madrid’s Champions League hangover was brutally exposed by Osasuna, who beat Diego Simeone’s side 3-0 in Pamplona.
The result leaves Atleti three points adrift of leaders Real Madridahead of the pivotal derby against Carlo Ancelotti’s men next week.
Osasuna too a surprise lead just six minutes into the game, with Alvaro Cejudo arriving unmarked at the back post to volley home under no pressure from a corner.
And the home side doubled their advantage after 21 minutes when Emiliano Armenteros fired high into the net from the best part of 20 yards, giving Osasuna a 2-0 lead.
But things got even better for Osasuna just before the break, when Roberto Torres ghosted into the box to finish at the near post from a square cross into the box.
