Fabio Capello is at the centre of an embarrassing blunder in Russia after mistakenly calling up a club's reserve player.
The former England coach selected the Lokomotiv Moscow reserve Andrey Semenov in naming a 23-man squad to face Armenia on March 5.
He had intended to call up Semenov's namesake who represents Terek Grozny.
"I was surprised, to say the least..." revealed the Lokomotiv version of Semenov, who is still only 21 and has never played for the Lokomotiv first team.
"Well, I have one year's experience playing for Russia's youth team!"
The Russian football authorities quickly corrected the squad list before apologising for the error.
Lokomotiv even had to delete an article announcing Semenov's selection.
The who thing was perhaps less surprising than Reading forward Pavel Pogrebnyak actually earning a call-up.
