Liga - Barca 'to move for Bayern’s Mueller'

Barcelona will make a summer approach for Bayern Munich forward Thomas Mueller, reports have claimed.

Mundo Deportivo cites Sport Bild, who say president Josep Maria Bartomeu has given the go-ahead for the transfer.

It would take a fee of €45m (£37m) to prise Mueller away from Munich and Pep Guardiola’s continued decision to drop Mueller could push the 24-year-old out the door. As it stands, Mueller doesn’t want to leave.

Real Madrid and Manchester United have already watched Mueller, the report continues, and he has a contract until 2017.
